TRIANGLE Advanced Anaerobic Digester

Advanced Anaerobic Digester

Anaerobic bioconversion is one of many strategies towards producing sustainable energy. Already in some EU countries vast amounts of organic by-products are converted to biogas in Anaerobic Digesters. Advanced Anaerobic Digesters are designed to maximize the daily yield of biogas for a given volume of digester capacity. The more biogas you make, the more power and energy you will produce. This enables you to maximize your revenues through utilising waste materials. Biogas yield is largely a function of the percent total solids and percent organic total solids. Where technically and financially viable, you can add supplementary anaerobic bacteria to accelerate the anaerobic process allowing you to produce more biogas from a fixed digester volume.

An Advanced Anaerobic Digester therefore contains the following features:

  1. An external Dry Feeder, with the ability to inject dry matter with a percent total solids of 30% or greater into the Digester.
  2. A mixer inside the Digester, capable of mixing TS as high as 30%.
  3. An efficient Internal Combustion Engine Generator Set which allows you to convert as much of the  methane as possible into valuable electricity.
  4. A PLC based control system, which both monitors and controls your system remotely. The system includes many feedback instruments and transmitters, giving a complete picture of how your Digester is performing.
