2D & 3D CAD Draughting
Our in house 2D CAD drafting and 3D CAD modelling services are available for all types of projects. These can be used in conjunction with our design service or alongside an existing building or fabrication project.
Our 3D CAD modelling service is also available as part of our in-house design or to progress an existing project to its next step. The 3D service is beneficial as it can be introduced within an architect or main contractors BIM file enabling the sharing of information in real time to various parties. This reduces time taken within the initial design and drawing stages and dramatically reduces the risk of errors being made. Our steel structure drafting department are experienced in dealing with a broad range of drafting requirements.
We recognise that each project irrespective of size is different and therefore has different requirements. To provide a consistent, high-quality service our design and drafting department will liaise not only with the client but often with other parties involved within the project. This continuous communication between all parties involved is key to maintaining our high standards and levels of satisfaction from the client.
Site Surveys - Using Total Stations
A full spectrum of surveying available from site visit surveys to full total station surveying by fully qualified project coordinators
Our survey and structure design service is tailored to suit the client. Whether the site requires a single visit to measure for straight beams to bear on pads, or a more involved survey involving the use of our total station that can be imported into our 3D modelling software, Triangle Ltd can offer the right survey to meet the clients project needs.
During the steel structure design process our team can re-work the original design to improve various aspects. These aspects can range from the visual appearance of the design which, once drawn to scale or in a 3D model, can be seen in detail by all involved, to money saved by a thorough initial site survey which can and flag any possible problem areas within project, or areas where improvements can be made which will save time, labour and money.

Fabrication
Triangle Ltd has an experienced team of qualified fabricators that work on a varied range of projects for our clients from light to heavy structural steel, to bespoke architectural metal work and more.
Structural steelwork projects include lighter work in the form of steel lintels, beams, columns and apex joists for domestic use, carports, small steel frame buildings and canopies. Larger structural steel projects include multiple balconies, either cantilevered from the building or supported by columns, large steel building frameworks and purlins, steel cattle grids with a 50T capacity (12,5T axle weight) or 150T capacity (24T axle weight) used for highways.
More bespoke architectural projects include cantilever and bespoke electric gates, stainless steel railings, staircases and balustrades and glass balustrading/partitioning.
Our fabricators are experienced in manufacturing from a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel and GRP (fibre glass). This enables Triangle Ltd to produce a high-end product that has been tailored to suit the exact requirements of our client, while ensuring the product is delivered in the most cost-effective manner possible and within the project schedule.
Triangle Ltd is also able to offer a full plasma/laser profiling service, along with punching, folding and rolling capabilities. Our facilities, along with our team of experienced fabricators, allow us to undertake a variety of project styles, from one of bespoke fabrication to larger projects with limited or large production volume run. All our products are CE Certified.
We also have full facilities for MIG and TIG welding in-house, ensuring the best possible appearance and strength to each weld before the project is given its final finish. Stainless steel projects can be finished in satin or mirror finish, dependent on the client’s preference. Aluminium would normally be supplied with an anodised finish, whereas mild steel can be finished in various ways. Galvanizing mild steel gives the best resistance to corrosion and can then be either painted or powder coated. A primer paint is also available for internal structural steels or for projects that are to be painted on site once installed.
